TEACHING TO COMPLEMENT YOUR CURRICULUM
Creating new ways to bring the curriculum to life can be a challenge. We create bespoke teaching sessions to complement your classroom teaching or school project that bring the students to nature or nature to the students. From the carbon cycle and climate change to food webs and pond dipping, we have a wealth of experience and expertise to enthuse and educate students.
Topics include:

Life Cycles
Comparing mammals, amphibians, birds and reptiles

Food Webs
Identifying species and their importance to the ecosystem

Evolution
How species have adapted to their environment

The Water Cycle
How water changes and creates change

Environmental Change
Weather, seasons, growth and decay
PROJECT EXAMPLE
Grass snakes, slow worms & toads.
Created to support a cross-curricular project, this activity explores questions such as what’s the difference between a reptile and an amphibian? If a slow worm is a reptile why doesn’t it appear to lay eggs? How does a toad change so dramatically during its life and why?
Students are able to have first-hand experience with the creatures in their natural habitats and investigate the resources they need to survive there.
