Students from Totnes Independent School had a fabulous time trying to create dams and pools in the stream at Washwalk Farm this week.
We were investigating why waterways have been moved to field edges and how this has changed the land use and the local ecosystem. We imagined how beavers might help restore the wetland at Washwalk and provide ecosystem services to the settlements further downstream. #learninginthelandscape
